We take those old LP's, CASSETTES, 45's or 12" SINGLES stashed away in your attic and we remaster and record them onto a CD so you can listen to them in your car, at work, or at home. Music is such a great reminder of the past, and now through the technology of Goingdigitalmusic.com you can relive all those great songs and memories that you've been missing for so long!

HOW TO ORDER
1. You email us any questions you may have about the service we offer.
2. Once your questions are answered, you simply click on the buy it now button and make a secure payment with any major credit card via Paypal.
3. Once your order is placed, GOINGDIGITALMUSIC.COM will email and confirm your order, give you our mailing address, and offer a few mailing tips so your LP's / CASSETTES / 45's arrive safely.
4. You send the LP's or CASSETTES to us.
5. Once your LP's or CASSETTES arrive we will email and let you know of their arrival and how soon you can expect them to be done.
6. Once we are done with your order, we will ship the LP's or CASSETTES and CD's back to you in the same packaging it was sent with.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In our opinion, anyone can record an LP or CASSETTE onto a CD, but very few will take the time and effort to carefully remaster it before recording. Yes, you can find other companies who will record your music cheaper than GOINGDIGITALMUSIC.COM...but as always...you get what you pay for. You can either get it done cheap or you can get it done right!

OUR PROCESS
A) Professionally clean the LP with the Loricraft PRC4 Professional Record Cleaning System (without a doubt the worlds finest record cleaner), so it sounds the best it possibly can...this step is extremely important as it cuts out probably 95% of the pops and clicks in most records due to dirt or static. If someone besides LPsOnCDs.com is remastering your records, make sure and ask them what they use to clean their records!

B) Record the LP onto my computer as a wave file using a low output amp designed specifically for this purpose (this helps cut out any buzzing sounds that high power amps produce).

C) Run the wave file through a pop and noise filter to help reduce and even eliminate many of the crackling and pops in many LP'S. We put these settings very low because the record is clean from the Loricraft Record Cleaner and also we do not want to alter  the sound quality of the album. Often times we will go in by hand and remove any remaining pops and clicks that we hear or see on the song file. We want it to sound the best it can when we're done with it.

D) Break the wave file into tracks. We do this by hand and do not use song tracking software to do this very important job, because ANY software (no matter how expensive) is inaccurate and we want it to be perfect. In our world, we either do it right or we don't do it at all!

E) Run wave file through a music enhancer to help bring the highs and lows of the album alive. Again, this is done at a very low level so as not to overwhelm the album.

F) Clear out the noisy space between songs and then fade in and fade out each song so the transition from song to song operates just like a commercial CD.

G) Level the volume on all the tracks.

H) Record it onto a CD at low speed.

I) Scan the front cover, touch up any bad spots, print out the album cover with the song list on back.

J) Ship your LP & CD back to you.

The only reason this happens is because the company does not know the simple secret of breaking the music file into tracks and recording it in the proper format.
